absolute mindless savagery that deserves ruthless punishment.

tell me why they should be allowed to continue to breath.
Las Vegas Metro Police Officers working the case say they haven't seen anything like it. A beating outside a strip casino has them working around the clock to find those responsible.
It was just past 2:20 a.m. Saturday night a group of young people walks by and individual who is believed to be a maintenance worker on a golfcart.
One of the persons in the group stops at the cart and grabs the worker's walkie-talkie.
The worker says something to the group and grabs for his cell phone. But what happens next has Metro Capt. David O'Leary in awe.
"I think the video speaks for itself," O'Leary said. "I don't think anyone in this community would tolerate this behavior anywhere."
The worker is beaten by hand and with a belt. He tries to get away but the beating continued
"I can speak for the resort corridor as well as the neighborhoods," O'Leary said. "This type of crowd attack mentality is something that we don't ever see in Las Vegas."
The worker does manage to get up and walk back to his cart.
"Considering the level of the attack and the beating-- it is amazing anyone was able to get up and walk away from that certainly," O'Leary said.
Police are trying to figure out what sparked the beating.
"It may have been the release of a movie," O'Leary said.
Police are following every lead so they can bring these individuals to justice.
"I think anyone who looks at the videotape certainly can derive from their own conclusions about what punishment should be made out to fit the offense," O'Leary explained.
The worker walked away with a broken jaw and collar bone.
Police are calling this a robbery because someone in the group took the worker's cell phone.
They are interviewing the victim as well as witnesses who saw what happened. They hope at least one of the tips can lead them to those responsible.
The concern over this brutal attack has police asking for your help. Police are not releasing where the attack happened at the request of the property.
