Why do we have to sensationalise and hate development that is not our own?

In the last 2 - 3 months there has been a real thing in the American and right wing (that still exists) European media about Iran and also about China.

These countries are now seemingly permanently on the 'dangerous' list for any action they take, moreso Iran whose rejection of a few inspectors out of 300 does actually impinge their IAEA inspection process. No really it does. Don't you see how? They have also lauched some 1950's tech surface to surface missiles, the deadliest of them all! Seriously Iran can threaten no one western properly, yet nuclear tipped bunker busters are prepared against it.

China for it's part has demonstrated an ASAT kinetic weapon, ideal for shooting down satellites, and of course potentially rogue asteroids, for whom the trajectory mathematics would be very similar. But why would China have a purely malevolent or altruistic intent? Of course, destroying satellites produces debris equally as dangerous to one's own satellites as one's enemies... but that's pointless right?

Figure it out... Who wants to keep you hating? Do you hate the next town to you? They are stealling American Jobs afterall.

Dude. People suck ass. You don't think there's some dude in China typing the same thing you are about his government and it's
foreign policy?

People suck. If you put them in a position of power or in a position to make money they are going to take advantage of it and exploit it and whoever they need to to get even more money. It's not Americans, republicans, Iranians, muslims or anyone else. It's just people. And yeah... put in a position of power you and I would likely do the same things. We all suck.

:imstupid: :disgust1: :twitch: :D

Who hates the Chinese or the Iranians? I can understand disagreeing with some of their current ambitions, as it makes sense for the US economy/defense in ways, but "hate" is a strong word when used, especially in terms of their people. I dont hate Chinese people or Iranian people at all.

Hate is a damn strong word. But my general view of how people view china is with fear of their up and comming development. Swedes don't fear the Chinese when it comes to them being potential conquerors of the world, with the Iranians it's a bit different. They are Moslem...
