Trying to explain logic to yuppie leftist, is like trying to explain color to the blind.
umm, huh?

First, are you saying that yuppie leftists are unable to think logically?

Second, you can describe colors, like...

Red is a warm color, it isn't always a negative, but is often associated with anger, passion, or responding to a stupid post.

Blue is a cool color and has the feeling of calm, which I don't experience here.

Black is what you see all the time cuz you're fvcking blind.

Look, I believe that our leader is an idiot. But, bush does not walk alone. Both democrats & Republicans have lost touch with what his country is based on.

Less federal control & more state & local control.

The gov't is not meant to be our babysitter or our savior.

It is merely meant to be our protector.

So stop with this "bush needs to be voted out" BS, it's not going to change a thing.

If anything it will get worse.

How will it get worse?

In fact, Since this Repulican administration has taken office, they've taken more control to the Federal level than any Democrat has even fantasized about. They've taken spending to absurd levels that even Dems wouldn't do.

And where do you draw the line at protector vs babysitter?

Like, in your opinion, is free healthcare for all citizens something a protector would do or a babysitter?

Health care should not be federalized. In fact, very little should ever be federalized.

If we are going to socialize health care, it needs to be done at the state level.

Protector, in my definition, means protection "threats" both foreign & domestic.
Threats, that may interfere with my personal liberties.

(Don't go into how life is a liberty & needs to be protected by free health care & if you do, see above.)

Opie, as I said before, both democrats & republicans have lost sight of this countries original focus.

I am not proud of the patriot act. But it is what it is & almost every democrat agreed on it.

Look at the context (I'm not bailing anyone out on this...just highlighting....) when all that was on the table... I had thought for a few minutes that Joseph "Motherf*ckin'" McCarthy had been re-animated for our entertainment...

Also, Pelosi, Hilary Clinton voted for it as well.
You seem to have this crazy idea that people here think the Dems aren't as full of cack as the frothers. Might be they're less likely to take the f*cktards truck on a direct route to Satansville but don't sell our cynisism short. We've got plenty to go around.
Go on a search and see if you can find many threads singing their virtues. Here in the PAWN section we're ham sandwich all the way.

Who are you calling McCarthy? I am not prosecuting any group, Just explaining my belief that our country has lost sight of it's original goal.

McCarthy was one crazy mother ffer.
