A popup from Tribal Fusion for American Express tried to pop up when I loaded the forums page just now. I thought that was not supposed to happen

There's been a transluscent floaty popup for a while now when entering the forums.

Perhaps TF found a way using javascript to bypass the Firefox pop-up blocker? I've never seen this pop-up.

Should you have to? No. If you never want to see any ads/pop-ups - yes. Both add-ons can prevent you from ever seeing anything from TF on any site - not just RM.

I just got the same popup but for Zwinky.
And just as I logged on now I got the American Express one.
