Heading to my office to finish some shit that I didn’t get done yesterday. Then off to try to load my big walnut logs.
Jammed a piece of metal in my finger last night. It’s still in there. So that’s cool.

Got my RMSS packed shipped today and more garden work. Dug up the last part of a lilac that had to give way to my mini forest.
'Morning. It's a crappy weather day. I'm about to climb onto the Kickr for 90 minutes. The new Spider-Man movie is great, if you like that sort of stuff.
Currently consuming hot flavored bean water in the hopes I will eject prior nutritions from the depths of my soul.

Getting there. I used a zip tie in place of the pawl spring (@Gary thank you) and found a piece of plastic plumbing that assisted getting the green seal pressed back in on the freehub.
Now I just need to find that spacer I dropped....ugh

Foggy and 34* Slept in until 7. Plan is to go for a ride if it ever warms up. My espresso came out really nice and dark, I am enjoying each sip. Dinner with friends at Haps Steak House tonight.

Took a colleague out for her first real MTB ride ever. Gave her my Uzzi to ride. Pretty impressive progression in 2 1/2 hrs I have to say. Must be the most talented beginner I have ever taken riding (or was it just the bike?). She had tons of fun too. Win! 
My legs are still attached.
Have the tree in pieces but ran out of time to get any loaded. Going to be beautiful wood.

Such a busy wonderful week (yes, I am suzy sunshine). HS Concert on Tuesday was amazing and MS concert on Thursday was awesome....it's snowing outside and really feels like Christmas (despite spending WAY too much time at Urgent Care and Ortho and MRI with Syd who likely has a torn meniscus and a fractured foot from a dismount on her bar routine). Much holiday baking is about to commence.
Its alive! And fitting that's its snowing out pretty good now. We had none on the ground a few hours ago.
Afraid to squeeze the Shimano brakes, as they've been sitting on the bike upside down for 8 months. Will yolo and try them on the trail...

Karting was done. Wifey came with and actually had a chance to watch her. Speed registered when she was watching adult race times vs. Haley's. Confirmed by adults around us pointing out that her times were faster than half their group.
