I just got a set of Schwalbe Wicked Will tires, and while they look and feel pretty badass, the rotating direction seems a little strange. They seem like they should be run opposite to the direction that is marked on the tire. I'm just wondering if anyone has ridden them the direction that Schwalbe says is the wrong way. I've been riding them for a few days now, and they hook up well, just seems strange to me. Thanks in advance.

most of the schwalbe tires are like that and do work beter the way they say. Weird, but wrks

Did you check the weight of the tyre?
Is it folding or wire?

Been running a Wicked Will on the front this season, in the direction Schwalbe indicates, and it has been working really well... haven't tried flipping it though, kinda scared to be honest.

Yeah, the tires are heavy, that part kind of sucks. They are the steel bead version.

I've noticed the rotation of a few schwalbe tires are kind of weird, but then you see them mounted on wheels at their sea otter booth mounted the way you think they would go.
