I got my new super t on my bike this weekend and it's a huge improvement from the older boxxer I was running. i just need to get stiffer spring for it because the stock ones definitely aren't cutting it (PM if you have some kicking around).

My 2.8 michi tire is rubbing so I'm going to have to switch to a different front tire.

I'm looking for suggestions for the widest tire I can safely run that will perform good at Nortstar and other nor*cal(epic) riding. And again, if you have something that might fit this description kicking around PM me because I would like to have something for this weekend.

Thanks
Dan

Widest? There no need for a huge tire... 2.7 or 2.5 minion is all you need.
I need 3.0s for the village run.

WTB Timberwolfs work awsome there. I like them much better then any Michi that I have used. 2.8, and 2.5. It bites much harder, and it has better braking bite, for me at least.

I have run the lazer and the DH ones, and the DH ones work much better. The problem that I had with the lazer is that the sidewall was so thin that I got a lot of deflection when hitting rocks, and it made the bike feel real sketchy. The DH casing is much thicker and makes the tire hold its footing better.
