So I've got tickets to go see Tom Petty with Frank Black. Just sounded too bizarre. FB is listed as 'supporting,' so I guess he's just opening, but I was really hoping they'd be singing together. A pixified version of "Don't Come Around Here No More" sounds pretty rockin', as might be a Pettied-down "River Euphrates" or "Where is my Mind?"

We shall see. Anyone else from the Bay Area going? (Berkeley, 29 Sept.)

I sure hope work doesn't take me out of town for this. I've already got tickets!
