Will a Saint RD work with 8spd XTR?

I assume if I'm running a 8 spd shifter and XTR cassette that the Saint RD will work just as the 9spd XTR RD does. I don't believe there is an actual Saint cassette is there?

It doesn't matter to the derailleur how many speeds you're running - it's the shifter pods that care. So you won't have any problems if you're running 8spd shifters and cassette.

No, there's no Saint cassette...
