Or: Unemployment court isn't as cool as it sounds.


I got to testify in unemployment court today. I brought 10 documents hoping to eat up most of my afternoon but no, we were still done in 30 minutes. Who would have guessed that anything govn. run would be that efficient?

Nah, the defendant didn't show, so I just got my testimony on the record. If I was an unemployment court lawyer, I think I might shoot myself. It was a horribly boring, tedious experience. I can't imagine doing it for 40 hours a week.

Good luck with that. I'm "on call" as a jurist until October. I had to go in last month for selection for a 2nd degree murder trial and the selection process took about 5 hours. Teh suck.
Great, I can't wait ... at least my work pays me the time.

Wear a NASCAR t-shirt and a hat with a confederate flag on it and I guarantee you'll be out in less than 30 minutes.
