I had one and it was crap. It may have been their wheat, I really don't know. It was part of a 7 course meal that we got at a DoD symposium in Wburg. It was definitley a small beer (low alcohol) and drank more like hopped water. I'm pretty certain it was one of theirs, but that doesn't mean they all suck. Report back to us once you've tried them.
The Richmond and Hampton Roads/Williamsburg listings would be closest to Williamsburg if your looking to visit the breweries. The only VA brew I've had is Old Dominion and, while very drinkable, isn't anything great.
Found a decent beer store in Williamsburg at the Monticello Marketplace next to Ukrop's that had a bunch of micro-brews. I think it was called the Wine Seller? Anyways, I decided to try a couple more Porters, in addition to the Pale ale, Absolut, and Tequila that was also consumed last week. neaky: The Williamsburg had a slightly stronger taste and was stronger - 6.8% to 5% for the St George's. The Williamsburg Porter would have been perfect with a nice steak.
