Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
I have an OFFICE XP installer message poppin' up from something. Its prompting me for a disc (which I don't have). All I want is for it to stop and not come back up.

Oh most merciful and RESPECTFUL techies, how exactly can I accomplish this...... short of bustin' up it up with a hammer that is sitting over there.

well, try uninstalling your Microsoft Office programs and reinstalling them when you get a disc. Or, if there's a program related you don't use, uninstall that.

So Cal
If you send me your address I will mail you a copy of Office XP.

By the way... Is it against the rules to talk about, post a link to, or offer shall we say, "less than legitimate" software. Personally I am a pirate, err.. I mean an Honest merchant plying my trade on the seas with a letter of marque... and I don't care what Uncle Bill thinks, but I would hate to be banned from RM for distributing unautho'ed software.

Ciaran...

my unsolicited opinion, as a one-time software developer who still has many friends in the industry: either pay for office or use openoffice.org. www.openoffice.org
