We started rolling it out in the office yesterday. It takes a long time to install, so be patient if you get a period of seeming unresponsivity.

It integrates with NAV to check and report on update status - neat.

Somehow gets in an argument with Citrix clients, not sure what the resolution to that will be.

Otherwise, with installations on ten or so workstations, it installs, it works.

What exactly does it change as far as the user/sys admin is concerned? Any new buttons or is it all behind the scenes?

No differences that I have noticed. All network connections are firewalled by default. IE now blocks popups. Tends to ask you at sensible times whether you really want to run any executable, remembers your response. Nice work, actually.

It interrogates NAV using WMI to determine whether it's updated. In home installations, doesn't work with 2002 version, does with 2004. With Corporate, don't recall the version, I have observed no interaction.

We're initially pushing manually. It's a small environment, < 75 desktops. Whenever they finally release it, we'll use automatic.
