behind you with a snap pop
I am lame. Instead of going up Saturday like I should have, I was gonna go up early Sunday morning. But I forgot my truck tires are totally bald and those Maypops have no business driving in snow. So, I went and did a angry trail ride in the snow today instead. Thanks for putting this race on and sorry I did not make it.

It was a great day even though on the beginning of Sunday people were just standing around a lot. Once it came closer to race time, the mud began to dry out for a great race. Thank you everyone who helped make the event happen, took pictures and publicized it, and helped donate awards.

Unrelated, but $25 membership to Tread Lightly gets you $100 rebate on Goodyear All Terrain tires. ;)

I get both sides. Jay is wanting to really legitimize what we have in the Souffy with top notch media and being a former race promoter, I can tell you whether it's 5 seconds, minutes hours or days after a race is over...it drives you nutz to hear anybody ask for a single result and stresses one to wit's end.

Heck, I haven't attended either race and am still stoked. I can't figure out though who got the nickname Fionn Griffiths?

that huge one off literally on the left edge of the trail as you turn right that puts you into those other rocks? I am pretty sure I know which one you are talking about. I remember thinking, no way when I saw it. WOW!

yeah, its good to go, you just need to keep your nose up. much faster than making that janky right left right move.

Wonder if the ladies were bummed not to have their own podium?

Windrock having a women's podium with two multi-time World Cup winners in February would make for a pretty cool pic. Alex has the Midas touch. :thumb:

the other contender for the ladies podium prefferred to remain nameless, so it would have just been Fionn and Brandon up there for that podium, you know, cuz of his long flowing locks
