what does 2nd bottling mean?

i might have used the wrong term...2nd label, maybe? basically, it's not the flagship wine. they might source grapes from elsewhere, and/or leave the best grapes for the premium wine. that said, you still get the skill of the winemaker, and their name is on it, so it's generally a good bet.

That blows. If it's not undrinkable, you can still use it for cooking. I don't drink much white, but have had some decent Chiliean red's while dining out.

I was reading how some Chileans aren't what they are labeled as. It was mostly Sauvingon Vert labeled as Sauvingon Blanc. We tried a SB from Chile over the holidays & it was nice. Pretty sure it was SB. It was very herbacious & floral but didnt really have that cat piss smell, so who knows.
