I live in Seattle. It doesn't get super cold. Mostly just 30-50 deg and rainy. 40 and drizzling feels pretty cold.
I wear knickers 10 months of the year. I have horrible knees and warm knees are happy knees.
I'm looking for some wool knickers to take the chill of and have found nothing that doesn't have a chamois. (mens)
Should I just pony up the $$$ for true winter knickers? I feel like I could spend half that and get what I need if only it were for sale. I'd also like to layer it so I could shed it mid ride. Conditions are often very different from morning commute to afternoon commute.
Knee warmers help but my junk gets cold.
