Anybody have one of these? Jenson has a coupon for 20% off, wouldn't mind using it on one even though my jerry-rigged front shifter still works. Wood screws are not really my thing....

quality is awesome, but the throw is a little long with a ks post.
I think they have a matrix showing what it works well with and what it doesn't work well with.

Yeah, it takes a little while to get used to the fixed angle, compared to a KS LEV lever it doesn't move in as many directions/axis if that makes sense. But it works. Throw is a little long for my 9point8 post.

I have two, both on Transfers. Both are the short throw version. Really like them.

I have one on my transfer and dig it. I have another one I got used with a oneup post that I rebuilt (easy to rebuild, and they make parts to integrate with just about every brake lever, I picked up the magura adapter) waiting to go on plastic GG bike when it comes. crank bros one is nice also, it's much more adjustable, but I do like the actual WT lever more.

... the only apparent damage to my bike from my wreck of savagery was the trigger "broke" off, but thanks to break-away plastic axle, it was a simple and inexpensive repair.
Mine put a nice puncture in my thigh that took days to stop bleeding, but it didn't break off.

They're great levers, but I think the throw is too long/action is too light, and I don't have the light action model.

One of the things I liked about my old Thomson was the immediate release, despite stiffer action.

I do want light action...the thomson lever is excessively stiff, and the shifter I have replaced it with is better, but the ergonomics aren't great.

Disclosure I am friends with the guy that designed that lever and saw many and used a few of the prototypes. But I do think it’s one of the best out there. At first I wanted to use the integrated mount with all levers but after setting up a number of them the bar mount is the best way to go, followed by SRAMs mounting system, all others kinda suck looking at you Shimano and your 3 different shitty systems (or is it 4 now with new xtr?)

TLDR, go bar mount or if using sram brakes sram mount is good too. Use chart on WT site for light action or OG.

Another positive here. Two in use, both with One-Up posts. I'd like to see the cable clamp/crimp bolt be the next size up, but get that there is a limited amount of real estate there to work with.

Had the Wolf Tooth on my old Transfer and its awesome. Now have a PNW Loam Lever, and I'd say its just about on-par with the Wolf Tooth. Machining on the Wolf Tooth is a bit more "finished" and seems higher quality, but the Loam Lever rubber pad feels nice and functionally its a draw between the two.

The triggy is good enough that I do not want to replace it, but I have the WT on my other bike. I like how you can shortcut install/removal on both once you have the length set by unbolting the remote from its perch. The action on the revive is so smooth it doesn’t require anything extraordinary and both are easily capable of modulating the up/down speed. Triggy is a little lower profile, WT is definitely a good shape and function.

The cable fixing bolt head was changed, if you have the button head, it’s the old one the newer socket head is much better and still has the attached washer. The updated bolt is what WT will send and even if you have to buy it it’s worh it. Or a good fastener shop should have it too.

It's not so much the bolt as the tiny, tiny little hole into which it threads. I'd like to see that reinforced with a steel insert or the larger size just so you have more thread engaged. I'm thinking of just drilling it out and threading to the next size up anyhow.

Just not quite sure if there's enough material on the lever to have room for that. Project for tomorrow!

I still don't get it- the pricing.

For $50 you can get an XT 11spd shifter that has a lot more engineering and mechanical parts in it.

For $35 you can have a 3x7 shifter/brake lever combo with (2!) bar clamps included! Plus those brake levers can be adjusted to use canti, V-brake or cable actuated discs!

Or for $50-$85+ you can have a lever.

A SIMPLE FUCKING LEVER. No technology, no science, and minimal engineering if you want to call it that.

EDIT - sniped!

Still much better than the POS Fox Transfer remote that is $60 and a total flimsy POS not worth $.25.
I have the RaceFace version of this lever. it controls my LEV. I don't like the colour, and I don't like how it rattles. So I bought a Wolftooth lever. But I haven't installed it yet because the RaceFace lever works fine still, and I guess I'm just lazy that way.

I think I got suckered by Lizards, caus' I now have a fancy $75 thingamabob sitting in a box somewhere in my basement.

The KS underbar lever is excellent and has a ton of placement adjustment.

The e.13 one is good too and it has some fancy-looking machining for those of you who like that, though I can attest it has some dumb little small parts that make field repairs unfun.

I have the woolfthooth on both my bikes love the feel of them.
Don't bother with Shimanos optislick crap, pair it up with Jagwires super polished cable, that's the best feeling combo I've ever tried.

That's a bold tap job with such little material to work with. Kudos
It's not so bad. M4 bolt is still fairly small, while grabbing a lot more material than the tiny M3 that was in there. The hole passes through the thickest part of the lever around there as well.

which is exactly why i still use a converted front shifter.

I have a converted shifter as well, and if your cable head is at the shifter, I can't see why you'd use anything else. They work fantastically. My problem is the thomson has it reversed, with the head on the post, so I have to find a way to fix it on the shifter...that was difficult with my Deore shifter, but it's nearly impossible with the XTR on my bench. I have to reassmble the shifter around the cable before I even fix it, so I gave up. The ergonomics on the deore cause me to throttle a little more than I would like, so that's why I'm looking to replace it.

Yeah that's the thing, the Transfer has the cable head at the post end, and is by far the least explode-y dropper I've used. My older one is 3 years old and I haven't touched it. But it's cable head at the post, and converting a shifter to clamp the cable is a PITA.

Why I like my One-Up post/Wolf remote combo.

Works great, under $300. Nice that more companies seem to be offering posts sans remote.

I had initially bought it for a frame that had some internal clearance issues. The ability to shim the post down allowed me to run a longer post. After a while with it, liked it so much I swapped to one on my other bike as well.
