One of the guys I have rode with and done trailwork with has won a ride with Lance Armstrong. Norm is a bike mechanic, local legend, and a pretty talented rider.

I posted in this forum because the commuter bike they are mentioning in the article is a singlespeed, which is kinda true.
It's actually a fixxie.

It's kinda funny because I have NEVER read a news story of which I had personal knowledge that was ENTIRELY accurate.
Perhaps that is a topic for the political forum

I spoke with his boss at our trailwork yesterday. He told me that the event sponsor will be providing bike(S) for the rides. I'm guessing none of them will be fixies.
