Hey all,
So I saw some wooden fenders for sale at River City Cycles in Portland, OR. Sweet stuff, but at $149 for the set, I could buy and make a jig, clamps, and a bunch of hardwood to make my own. I have a strong idea of how to make the fenders, but not the hardware. I have looked a bit online, but the only hardware I saw was $20-25 just for the V-braces.
So, does anyone know where to get cheap(er) fender hardware? I wouldn't mind making my own, but I don't want to do trial-and-error too much. So, if you have seen some online documentation for making / putting together your own fender hardware, that would be great.
I found this site, which (sort-of) documents a fairly hack method of making some fenders, and apparently the lady made her own hardware, but all together they look nice. Check it out
Thanks for any help.
