An old friend who pedals around with his kids but not by any means a bike savvy ride junky like many of us, is looking for a recommendation on Woodland Hills area bike shops where he can get excellent service and advice on basic BMX bikes for his twin boys age 7.

Suggestions from SoCal monkies much appreciated.

don't know much about Woodland Hills but there's a Wheel World, i go to the one in Culver City every so often. They have a decent web site, so that's a place to start.

if that doesn't work, Burbank Cycles and H&S Cycles are both in Burbank which is fairly close to Woodland Hills and they are very BMX friendly. Especially Burbank cycles, that guy stocks a lot of hard to find bmx stuff. Hope this helps.

Thanks! He's been going to Wheel World but not thrilled with the service but I don't know details beyond that. I'll let him know about Burbank and H&S and hopefully he has a better experience at either of those.
