i got an email today...i am getting a press pass to shoot photos for the upcoming john zorn masada extravaganza in NYC next month!!!! :weee: :dancing:

man am i psyched. this is gonna be fun.

joey baron's the best drummer i've ever seen. he's totally amazing. he'll be in both the acoustic and electric Masada lineups.

personally, i can't wait to hear/see Marc Ribot...he's a great guitarist.

got word from the promoter that the venue Zorn is playing in is a 'union' house, and i'd need to fork over $3500 for a 'buy-out' if i want to shoot photos.

what the hell? :rant: :rant: :rant:

this totally blows.

on a more upbeat note, i've about clinched a photo pass for the Radio Birdman show a week from saturday.
