PCs are retarded. I hate them. And the PC we have on the boat is no different.

Every couple minutes, a godamned window pops up asking me if I want to work offline or if I want it to try again.

I have tried changing some preferences in the connections window, but nothing I have tried seems to work. There is no Internet connection on this computer.

For the life of me I hope there is a simple solution before this PC meets a watery grave.

Did you try schmacking it? Don't smack it, that's different. You have to schmack it. If you don't know how to schmack it, then you have to find someone who knows and have them do it for you. If you schmack it wrong, you could render it FUBAR.
