is it just an IE thing? a super famous friend of mine who is way inside the industry said he watched them in explorer and they looked gross, but in firefox they were good. same experience for me. weird.

give me classic rock any day over that weird grunt stuff.
Forsure. Or at least some Snoop/Biggie.

Music is M.I.A - Paper Planes

Sick footage once again, cool to see Fraser on the mic and in front of the cam! This race is going to be awesome. It'd be great to see a Brit to take it, Gee, Peat or Brendan...but I'm still backing Hill, that drift is just mad!

I liked that drift shot that Fraser got, and I'm even more impressed by it after watching the video. Fraser had a split second to get it, and he got it . . . in focus. Impressive!

Can't wait to watch this sucka on Saturday morning.

Hey you yanks.

Don't mean to be rude, but what the hell is up with US DH racing? Looking to the future here.... your fastest Junior is in 37th place in the seeding (no disrespect to him - I couldn't even walk the track), and there's only 3 or 4 in the whole field.

Props for the qualifying vid very cool..

Not only was Sams drift impressive but the slow mo of the big jump before it shows the speed and distance hes getting which is kinda scary, speed and distance and big jump wow, no wonder he drifts afterwards, still looked all in control, go the Sam!

Not taken as rude at all. I was bummed to see the poor seedings. I guess that Ulmer kid who's a DNS (broken collar bone in training) was supposed to have a good shot of doing well. There's also this other kid coming up through the U.S. ranks named Neko Mullaly. He's only 15 (which makes him ineligible for worlds), but he's as fast or faster than any of the kids over there now and has supposedly been fast enough to qualify for the worlds team the last year or two. I saw him race twice so far this year and was floored by his speed and skill. If he sticks to it and develops some strength and endurance he'll be pretty damn impressive in a couple years' time.

I was hinking the same exact thing. I expected to see some massive like 10 second long drift. it was drifty, but he only really kicked it out for a split second. To get a great photo like that is impressive.

The footage overall was cool. That track looks like tons of fun. Really gnarly for a race. I'd love to hit some of those fast sections (well, I suppose they wouldn't be so fast if I were on them, but it'd still be fun).

If your reffering to aiello, he must have had a problem. He has only been racing for a short time (less than a year i think) and the big show might get to him, who knows. Just hoping he can pull it off in the main. He has no international experience and meeting the worlds best will give him a benchmark of what he needs to do.

The Americans have zero support and kudos to the guys who are over there busting their asses!

Freecaster - I was looking at the schedule and noticed that elite men DH racing starts at 12:45 CET. Freecaster says the feed it starts at 12:45, so does that mean we miss the elite women. And by the way I think it would be cool to see the juniors go to. Just a suggestion.

LMAO. He is an odd-looking dude. Give him another 5 years and a hair cut and he'll be one of those guys who you look at and can't tell if they're 25 or 75. Of course, when he destroys a DH track, it will be pretty apparent. :)

Seems like a nice kid, though. I'll be cheering for him on Saturday.
ya he's a wicked nice kid. I met him at the open and he was just really chill and fun to chat with in line. he was making moto sounds out of the gate and down parts of the open course. looked like he had a cleffed (sp?) lip. who knows, all those brits have screwed up teeth. definitely a fun rider to watch.

Yeah excellent footage, Freecaster. Many thx for sharing with us. And 'Paper Planes' is about the best song that came out last year - great editing with the gunshots, very effective.

And Fairclough looks like my grandpa when he takes his teeth out.[/QUOTE]

I beleive brenden has a cleft pallet, if i'm correct he was born without the roof of his mouth, and has undergone many surgerys as a kid probably.

And you were born with TOOL syndrome. And your still slow. Go figure.

Oops, didn't know it was a medical prob.
I was just making a dumbass observation.
Sorry, that was lame.
Well, the dude has overcome whatever has been thrown at him,
because he is a ripper for sure.
Gotta run, I am running late for my tool syndrome support group.

Not sure, look at the Jr podium from last year.
