Was he riding Cannondale Coda Dics maybe?Trek World Racing‏@trekworldracing
@AaronGwin1 had a brake malfunction is not immediately evident what caused this. Still exploring.
I heard that monkdawg forgot to bleed the oil out of the air on the protos.
Leaned over in first corner - pads were lubed.
And you understand jokes pretty damn well.Sounds like you or the guy you "heard" from have a real solid grasp of how hydraulic brakes work
He was surprising bad informed (or played dumb). A couple of times he said that they had timed a section and that this or that line would be fastest or you can't make up 2 secs on the lower split and then riders did. I really can't believe that he did his homework so bad (or TWR in general). Trying to fool the competition?Great to hear Rockwell speak and the booth had some funny comments today.
So he can't be wrong ? Some riders obviously knew some stuff TWR didn't but in your line of work - do you know everything your competition knows? He was surprising bad informed (or played dumb). I actually thought that he did a great job in the commentary booth. And, as I recall, the person who made up 2 secs on the bottom section did so vs Bryn who hucked that last drop and went slightly off course, not to mention the fact that we didn't see all of the bottom. He was surprising bad informed (or played dumb). I am not saying he can't be wrong. Just wondering what was going on. He clearly observed other riders and their lines in training and timed sections with TWR riders. So I can't imagine he was that off a couple of times. I was just thinking he didn't reveal all info or mentioned wrong info in case that one of the other team managers followed the live feed. Just speculating here, but a feeling I got while watching, especially later in the race.So he can't be wrong ? Looking at her track record she seems to be rather new to racing:
if he was you would heard him at the bottom of the hillWas he riding Cannondale Coda Dics .
It's a pattern with U.S. juniors who get silver at Worlds. I was chastised when I pointed out how glum Neko Mulally looked on the podium at St. Anne in 2010, though. In that case, I think Brosnan's proven himself more since that time.Did you guys see Richie-Rude's podium shot?
Mind you, Morgane only started doing World Cups 2 years ago!Looking at her track record she seems to be rather new to racing:

Good for her to make it to worlds that early in her career and understandable that she lost her nerves.
And here is the difference. No WC experience for Kim.Mind you, Morgane only started doing World Cups 2 years ago!

Example: Holly Feniakin fairness, just because your in your first wc doesn't mean you're going to crash right out of the start gate.
Race favorite Aaron Gwin (USA) saw his hopes of taking a 'bonus' title this year come to an end around 1min 20secs into his final race run, when inexplicably both his front and rear brakes failed, resulting in a crash. Shortly after the crash Aaron pumped the brakes to try and get some pressure going but it was insufficient to complete the course safely at speed, and he cruised to the line disappointed he was unable to throw down a run on the three and half minute course
Based on Rude's posts on Facebook I would have to say he is very proud of his silver medal... there were at least 10 photographers taking photos for 5 mins at the podium, there is a chance that you wont be saying cheese in every photo....as for support Yeti/Fox seem to take very good care of the first year Junior. It's a pattern with U.S. juniors who get silver at Worlds. Rude should be proud of that medal, but the situation with the re-run probably leaves a "what if?". Bruni arguably has better support and has had a great season, though.
Broken collarbone.By the way, was Myriam Nicole not racing? Injured or not picked for the team?
Gwin is awesome...can you imagine doing a massive bar hump with a look back with no brakes?Footage of what happened to Gwin:

Yes. Very impressive. It could have been too easy to be a sour puss, but he made the best of it and congratulated Greg right away. Great role model.Gwin is awesome...can you imagine doing a massive bar hump with a look back with no brakes?
Not to mention the disappointment he must have been feeling. What a legend.
I think he wasn't too disappointed, because he mentioned often enough that a one race title is kind of "dumb" to crown a worldchampion. Nonetheless it's an important race and title and he knows that. Not to mention the disappointment he must have been feeling. What a legend.
CG would have been proudI would have already funneled 3 bottles of champagne and been naked by that point.
That CG hasn't literally started a race run completely naked yet (Mario C unitard not withstanding) is a surprise to me. Who knows? He still has yet to retire and take that last race run.CG would have been proud
