How could you hate the Eagles? To be honest, I've never heard anyone say they hate the Eagles. Considering I went to a sold out show on a Monday night at the Staples Center, I would say that most people wouldn't agree with you...

Are you ****ting me? I was just about to post Dishwalla's "Counting Blue Cars" as a song that literally puts me into a homocidal rage when I hear it...

There's never, ever been such a hack songwriter reject from open-mike night at some ****ty coffeehouse than the idiotic mother****er who wrote that godforsaken turd of a despicably ****ing idiotically horrific abortion of a song.

Do you people work in an Abecrombe and Fitch or something. It what kind of situation do you people put yourselves in to hate a song so much? I hear a song that I don't like and I stop listening to it, I rarely hear it enough for any real hat to build. I don't listen to ****ty radio stations that contstantly play crap I don't like and when I do hear something I don't like I change the station.

You only need to hear it once. It's like liquid evil being dropped into your eyes, dropped in as your lids are spread with a speculum, "Clockwork Orange" style.

Circa 1999, it was inescapable. It was the harbinger of the Anti-Christ of the coming millenium.

PAOLO NUTINI LYRICS

"New Shoes"

Woke up cold one Tuesday,
I'm looking tired and feeling quite sick,
I felt like there was something missing in my day to day life,
So I quickly opened the wardrobe,
Pulled out some jeans and a T-Shirt that seemed clean,
Topped it off with a pair of old shoes,
That were ripped around the seams,
And I thought these shoes just don't suit me.

[CHORUS:]
Hey, I put some new shoes on,
And suddenly everything is right,
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,
It's so inviting,
Oh, short on money,
But long on time,
Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine,
And I'm running late,
And I don't need an excuse,
'cause I'm wearing my brand new shoes.

Woke up late one Thursday,
And I'm seeing stars as I'm rubbing my eyes,
And I felt like there were two days missing,
As I focused on the time,
And I made my way to the kitchen,
But I had to stop from the shock of what I found,
A room full of all off my friends dancing round and round,
And I thought hello new shoes,
Bye bye them blues.

[CHORUS]

Take me wandering through these streets,
Where bright lights and angels meet,
Stone to stone they take me on,
I'm walking to the break of dawn. [x2]

[CHORUS (x2)]

Take me wandering through these streets

The first page mentions the 500 mile song. Last year while riding my snowmobile up in maine cruising around 30-60 I came out of my daydream to me screaming that song. Now my sled is really quiet and had people been stopped along the trail taking a break they would have heard it through my helmet and the noise from the sled. I would have been quite the retard. Fortunately all that was around were pissed off birds. Also fortunately enough when I realized what I was doing I was laughing hard enough to not want to ride head on into a tree... That song also really sucks

so you were like 7 when most of those bands were popular
Yeah. I bought my own cd player in kindergarten with all my birthday & Christmas money. I started listening to my mothers cd collection. My uncle worked part time as a DJ so we had a **** load of ep's laying around.

I own about a 1000 cds

As an avid Priest fan, that song made me cringe. I have not played that disc in 10 years, I'll wager, while the others get much love.
Listen to "Evil Fantasies" off Hell Bent For Leather.

Read the lyrics at your own risk.

We turn and face each other
My fingers pull your hair
You wince and jerk my wrist off
I bite my lip and stare
Your stance at once defiant
I'm rigid to your pose
You clench your teeth in anger
My loving swells and grows

You give me evil fantasies
I wanna get inside your mind
Come on and live my fantasies
I'll show you evil you can't hide

You're dragged into my vision
Trapped, serving to my need
Maybe imagination
Is where my dark side feeds
You slide your nails down in me
I raise my structure high
You pout, I snarl, you whimper
And wave compassion by

You give me evil fantasies
I wanna get inside your mind
Come on and live my fantasies
I'll show you evil you can't hide

Gonna take you, gotta get through
Gonna make you, do what I want

You're dragged into my vision
Trapped, serving to my need
Maybe imagination
Is where my dark side feeds

It's painful to remember this but.....Hanson-MmmBop.

When I was in high school, I won tickets to GNR and Metallica in Tampa Bay from a radio station in Richmond, VA. Then they said since I wasn't 21 at the time insurance wouldn't allow it. They offered Use your Illusions I and II as consolation. When I went to pick them up, they wouldn't give me the CDs since I wasn't 18. Instead they tried to give me Amy Grant and Marky Mark...which contained the rest of the Top 25 for Worst Songs of All Time, I've hated pop music ever since:disgust1:
