I know this great paper mache recipe to fill the gap between the steerer and headtube with to keep that set up from wiggling around while you're doing your epic hux.

i have a ragley blue pig, love it! its pleeenty slack with a 140 fork, that seems like overkill chopper territory my man. its got a 1.5 ht so it should support it, but your handling is gonna suffer. you may want to email brant info@ragleybikes.com if you need further guidance, he is a wise man. have fun!

It's too much, unless you want to go to a Chopper Convention. Can't you drop those forks down to 160mm or 150mm??

If you're serious about a Ragley w/ a 180mm, the Bagger 288 is made to handle it. Spec'd for a 160mm fork, but will handle a 180.

Although I'm a fan of burly hardtails, 180 seems a bit much.

Heres the crazy bike.

At 140mm

At 180mm

Don't really feel much difference at 180mm, but the front felt really heavy.

it really seems to me that the 140 and 180mm pictures are identical.
I was wondering why this thread is still going! Anyway, they really do look the same- maybe he posted two 180mm pics on accident? Pretty sure the handlebar is on the door latch in both pics...
