I can't even find the commercial I'm talking about. It was that creepy.
The new Genesis coupe and sedan look pretty nice. I've been to the dealer (because it's also a Suby dealer) and the numbers are decent, especially the fact that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
That said, a reason I would probably choose something over the genesis coupe is that it's a bit heavy. It's not nearly as heavy as the lardass chevy camero, but the Nissan 350/370 recently went on a diet and is down several hundred pounds, even about 200 below the genesis. Power to weight ratio is everything, it tells you how much usable power you'll have, how well it will accelerate, gives you some clues about the possible milege, etc. Anyway, the gensis is still better than the original 350Z (~3600lbs). The cost makes it very attractive, could be looking at 10K or more price difference.
