Some of the hills around here are just too steep to stay in the saddle. I had gotten so used to spinning ~90rpms up any mountain. Now I'm having to put serious energy into the up-stroke just to keep moving at a decent pace.
I'm still trying to get used to it. Like keeping the wheels on the ground. Getting moving from a start, I wind up pulling the handlebars and lifting the front wheel, then after I get past 30-40pms and pulling on the up-stroke, I'm lifting the rear wheel until about 60rpms.
Much fun, sore legs, totally in love.
