spent most of my working day shepherding my son to a Dr's appt and then for tests. He's had a sore stomach for weeks, going on months. We were worried he was coming down with glucose or lactose intolerance. He has a phobia of needles, so getting blood work done was an ordeal: special clinic at children's hospital, lorazepam, and some sort of freezing patches so he doesn't feel the needle. He nailed it though, and hopefully this is a growing opportunity for him; that needles aren't that bad, and CAN overcome his fears.

Ironically, it turns out the stomach x-ray was all he needed; all he has is constipation. I never would have thought it would be an issue for him given how much time he spends in the shitter. But yeah, turns out you can be constipated and still have a BM every day... Looks like less refined sugar and bread, and more fruit and fibre are in his future...

Went to storage to find all my basic chisels and carving tools. Need to find my grinders/sharpeners tho

was re-inspired in Hawaii last week to start carving again. I dig the Polynesian/Māori and Norse styles of carvings and plan on incorporating some of the aspects into the house construction such as the front door and some other accents in the house. Need to find a couple small projects to get back into the swing of things

it’s only one drawer of tools sorted I’ve found yet but plenty to sharpen and recondition thus far, gotta find my planes

Got stuck in a customers barn lot today. That was embarrassing. Jesus Christ. Thankfully he thought it was pretty funny. Street tires on a 3/4 ton are worthless on ground that frost is rapidly leaving.
Back in the day when living in CDA Idaho I had all four 44" intercos spinning in low range in my driveway the ice was so slick and cupped under my tires. Quite embarrassing. Ended up parking on the gravel during the winters while living there.

Putting the finishing touches on my sheet metal bender tonight! Pretty excited
Just bought a cheapy myself to fab up body panel patches on the CJ project this week.

Picked up some gruyere to make some fancy ass mac and cheese with provolone and aged sharp cheddar. Using whole wheat mac and spicy sausage.

What an awesome outcome. That’s relatively easy to fix. Throw some kombucha in the mix for good measure.

Which one of those would be best for cutting out a clogged sweat gland or removing excessive callous on one’s feet ?

Whats cheap? I've spent about $100 on mine but it only bends up to 22 inches.
