Isn't that the benny hill theme song?
When has such comic and musical genius been in one place at the same time?

I remember Benny Hill being fucking hilarious when I was 10. I am sure I would hate it now so I will never watch it ever again and apply Yakkity Sax to other hilarious failures of stupidity.

When you flipped about about me or someone else saying the benny hill theme, and reminded everyone that it was actually called yakkity saks.....I did that thing. I consulted the youtube.

......it holds up.

Numerous post-10yo concussions may help, but hey that's why we have peer review.

Like the Dombas Putin's had a hard on for trying to fuck that area over for a few years now, starting with astroturf "resistance/separatist" fighters and then followed by actual troops to support the "Brave ethnic Russian's" in the area.

In a van.... down by the river
This is the bigger goal that Putin has been talking about for years, reunite the soviet union.

Ukraine is the hardest to take over, Belarus basically has bent over and let Putin take them over, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia will be easy.
Actually, those Baltic states will *not* be easy. And I suspect Putin is not quite *that* stupid.

A million Germans were imprisoned and about 100,000 killed resisting the Nazis. Russians seem to excel in compliance.

In hell. Welcome!
Meanwhile in Germany, the German left keeps doing what it has been doing for decades - siding with the fascists in russia. All these righteous cunts should just pack their shit and move to russia.

The fact that they got support from AfD, a radical far-right party, is ironic. Or is it?

Luckily there are other politicians in Germany who challenge this BS, but this is exactly what Putin is betting on. Peace for our time!

It isn't. The horseshoe is real, particularly in the case of support to Ukraine and that is hardly an issue only in Germany. The far left and right wing as well as libertarian types can find common ground here and they love to conflate it with whatever position they take in the culture war. Case in point:

I find this interesting because Unherd is the type of media company / publisher that would probably describe its audience as some mix of centrist / classically liberal / conservative, but they tend to amplify voices like Sacks and Mearsheimer, when you would expect them to be anti totalitarian. I listened to one of their live events that featured Konstantin Kisin, and I think the only reason that he is the outlier and strongly supports Ukraine is due to personal connections and actually knowing what's going on in Russia and Ukraine first hand. It's quite disconcerting how many self described liberals (in the Euro sense) fall for conspiracy thinking and oppose support for Ukraine.

You must have me on your ignore list. I posted that yesterday already. ;)

Wagenknecht, although left-ish, is for a while now fishing for protest voters from the right. It is never a good sign when right-winged groups agree with you. I guess she is not only a socialist, but a national socialist. :disgust1:

seems legit

By making a video with david sacks, they've pretty much already shown their cards.

We want to be bold enough to identify those things that have been lost, as well as gained, by the liberal world order of the past thirty years; but we strive to be always thoughtful rather than divisive.

We are not aligned with any political party, and the writers and ideas we are interested in come from both left and right traditions.
