This is me at the bottom of a HUGE sand hill.....just decended saddle mountain about 1,000 down a sand hill you can't stop unless you take a digger (or two if you are me ) This is the bottom 1/4 - 1/5 of the hill that is in frame

From the top of the hill looking waaaaaaay down to the Columbia River. See that green grass? Right after that it turns down and sandy. Almost to the river below.

Yeah it is funny.....

that trail has been there atleast 30 years. It looks the same as when I last rode it 15 years ago.

We need to protect our native sand dunes....they are dissapearing at an alarming rate.

Guys would climb about half way up and lose all momentum. That is with reg dirt tires....it is freaking steep.

I had a heck of a time remounting after my get offs. Luckily there is a rocky access trail back up for people who ride down into the bowl.

Looks like a blast. I am trying to get my Husaberg out this weekend since most of the snow is gone in Brown's Camp. We hit Diamond Mill last week and it was great!

I will try and bring my camera this time.
