Just moved to Brookline outside Boston and I'm looking for some XC trials, any suggestions? Looking for something I can go for a ride in a couple of hours during the middle of the day, under 30 minute drive from the area if possible. Also where are the really good areas to go with a couple hours drive ?

Well , The Fells Is the closest to Boston , there is also the Blue Hill's in Milton. as you start to go farther the selection gets better .

Middle of the day, your best option would probably be Cutler Park in Needham.
Lynn Woods and Wompatuck are a little further away.
Within a couple of hours, there's tons of riding. For the most part, you are going to need to get beyond 128 for bigger, better trail systems.
