Looks like Steve Larsen's retiring from professional racing of all sorts. Got an email sayen so.
Bummer. The guy definetly lit up any race he was in. And who could ever forget the 2000 Norba season where they denied him the spot on the Olympic team and he went out and shaved his head and won the last five Norba Nationals! That was the best.

Well, here's to wishing him well in whatever he moves into now....

yeah 2nd at the fist stop....

1st on the second stop

2nd at Lk. Tahoe.

5th at XTErra Worlds in Hawaii after the weekend before competing in Ironman Hawaii.

first off the bike in hawaii with a pretty good lead, kind of blew up on the run. Pretty dang good if you ask me for someone who did Kona the week before.

I think i seen an autographed picture of him at the last bike shop i worked at. he was one of the first people to wear a giro helmet or helmet of any kind made for mtb.
