fvck.

the window tells all. what was in the trunk? the girlfriends purse (very nice gift), my new subwoofer, and our overnight bag....with all of our toiletries (so far im about 50 down replacing it), her makeup bag (she does makup for weddings, so that's not cheap) and all of her jewelry. most of it gifts that I had gotten her.

smash and grab job- cd's, apline HU and CD changer all unharmed...in the front seat. guess the alarm was alarming. best part is that my car wasnt the only one hit in that parking lot. yay. to thieves.

I think I said earlier today that thieves suck balls. I am beginning to think like Echo.

The unfortunate thing is, once echo wanted a stem and I had one to swap. We both mailed what we had on Monday after a few PMs. I can't imagine not being able to do that again, but people suck so much that anything feels like a gamble now. At least I have found a place with a few respectable people to be around even if they don't live nearby.

homeowners should. auto deductible is 750 or so, which means that if both windows cost more than 750, then im covered.

edit: the windsheild was already going to be replaced today. little rock ding that turned into a 24" crack. ugh.

can't tell from the pic, obviously the back window, but did they smash the front or side window as well?

In the way overpriced town that I live in, this is a norm. I'm better off leaving my car empty and the doors unlocked than I am leaving anything in the car with the doors locked.

I can sympathize with you. It s*cks. Had it done twice to me. Once someone was nice enough to cut through a Jeep soft-top for me after it had been installed for less than 48 hours.

Glass is 100% covered in Mass though. Cracked windshield from a rock or vandalism. Then again, we have the highest rates in the country. Regulated by the f*cking state.

That sucks real bad man. Where was the car when it got broken into? As a professional Car theft victim I must say, get home owners or renters insurance man... make sure it covers thing that are in your car.

After my 3rd car that got broken into (that makes me a professional car theft victim) I looked into this... my homeowners/renters. If something gets stolen out of my car now its covererd (not including things installed in the car like woofers changers, etc)... but if my bike were in there or maybe someones purse or jewelry, It'd be all good.
