after a week or so of 90* temps and 80% humidity, the AC is finally back on in my office building. Ahhh, that's sooooo much better. They had been doing some work on a water line or somethign like that, so all heat/ac had been shut off to the building for the last 3 weeks or so.

we went for a long summer at my job with one window unit "cooling" an entire deli, kitchen and all. it was about 95 degrees outside the whole summer. i stood at the cash register sweating, and we lost a lot of business because people would walk in, feel how hot it was and walk out. i left work every day feeling like i had been run over by a truck. lots of bickering at work that summer.
