I had to pry off my specialized shoes at 4:00 am with a screw driver at old pueble because the ratchet broke. Becaus of that I recently got the all velcro carbon fiber dealios. Lighter and more reliable not to mention super comfy.

I bought a pair of those back in 2002 and they have served me quite well. I need a new pair though.

I have some 3 strap velcro ones that have yellow on them. I wish I had them in red, but they work great on the road for me.
