I have a 06 medium as-x w/ 170mm 66rc2x.
I weigh around 170 w/o gear.

with the stock 450# spring I had about 50% sag. my LBS had an 550# spring which they replaced for free, now I have around 30% sag with minimum preload (didn't measure it exactly). according to Yeti's recommanded spring rates 550# is too much for me, but the 450# was too much sag. as far as I understand 50# difference doesn't really matters.. (also sag seems to be good anyway right now anyway..)

my setup is medium rebound, 125psi, about 1.5 turn borrom out and 4 click propedal.

the rear feels a little bit stiff for my taste, atlease when staticly sitting and playing with it.
on the fast or rocky traills I can feel the dhx working but on the more 'am' stuff it doesn't feel that plush.. any advice how to setup it better?

use the 550, We had a similar prob, my spring was to firm and his was to saggy, we switched and were in love with our bikes all over again!!!

Just play with the air pressure, the spring rate, and rebound, its all about feel bro, go with what you like!
