In the strangest places:

I'm on vacation with my family in The Galapagos Islands, and I stumbled across this.

It's basically a rebranded Foes Weasel, which also happens to be my first DH bike, which was lent to DW for a few races in his early years in the MTB world.

Check out the original Kuster shock and the King headset.

weird place to find that.

it actually is a Weasel swingarm w/ a IH front triangle.
someone on mtbr posted one
Foes built for Toby Henderson racing for Iron Horse. The same swingarm was used on the LTS and Weasel. Front triangle was IH specific. IH didn't build a downhill bike so they enlisted Brent to build one. Very cool piece of MTB history.

That is awesome, in great shape, and has so many classic parts. Great find.

I always wonder what happened to all these old great bikes...did they just fall apart and end up in the scrapper? Mounted on somebody's wall? Commuter bikes for the great uneducated?
