The DV 46s are great, but for my money I'd just do Assaults/ Strikes. Most of the performance for a good bit less.

I haven't ridden the DV46s, but I had a set of the Assaults, and I was not impressed with their stiffness. Might have been a combo with the frame, but I was not impressed.

If you can hang with cat2's you should get out and race. You should lap the field in a 5's race. Do that a couple of times and they will upgrade you to a four quickly.

You were right. Won the Cat 4 flite tonight by 3 seconds. And soon, the bikey will be 2.5lbsish lighter. Ohhhh yes.

Wrecked in a crit a couple weeks ago, sent it into the barriers and it had a little hairline crack in the brake track. Was hoping that'd be all, but while descending on it today it started making a popping noise and the carbon around the crack into the aero section can be flexed inwards.

Guess I'll either pony up the cash for a crash replacement or see if I can get a hookup on an EDGE/ENVE rim.

My brother by the way has the same frame you won and I rode it twice while in Denmark - super fun bike for the trails north of Copenhagen.
