Had 6 hours of the best sleep in years last night. Woke up in the same spot as I fell asleep in. What a miracle.
Probably going to need it since it's back to work. All those people who are like, "I'm back from vacation and ready to work!" are God damn psychopaths. Vacation makes me wanna never come back.

woke up feeling surprisingly good considering how beat up I felt when I got home from the mountains last night. Best part of the weekend was ignoring all the calls and texts from work. They don't pay me enough to be on call 6 days a week.

Last week was long, the wife said "you've never had to be at your desk for 8+ hours without a smoke break, you must need a vacation." She's right. But it's not like we do that all the time and we got a shit ton done with us all in the room at once, except poor Viktor was in Germany. But I could at least call in from the shed if I was home.
I have a lot to learn in the next few weeks, fuck..

I'm here for another round of bullshit. Wife comes home tomorrow from her Eurotrip. She's been gone nine days and I have eaten restaurant food a total of zero times, because I can cook.
And it seems the elevator at work is busted. My office is on the 3rd floor, but you can't access the stairs from outside, so I'm screwed. I left my laptop at my desk because I was done for the weekend, so I can't really WFH either.

considering it's my third 500i, it's awesome, I will use it in stock form for the next week of felling, bucking, and tree excavation while I have the excavator onsite, and then I will have it ported, polished, and a bark box exhaust and intake from west coast saws. Adds about 20% more power, 10% better economy and runs significantly cooler.
Get all the way home and couldn't remote into my laptop because it went to sleep. Drove back in and someone had propped the door to the stairs open so you can get in and up.
The first one I built was a tad too hot and it didn't make it more than 500 hours, threw a new head on it and sold it, the second one I bought when the fire was bumping the Camp Sherman property and sold it before moving and traveling.what happened to the first two?
