i think i have a today is the day single somewhere...i'll try to dig it out and give a listen. another amphetamine reptile band around the same time as TITD was Hammerhead. they were awesome. really tight, loud, psycho rock. saw 'em on a bill w/ helmet and the cows.
the cows were a hoot. shannon came out w/ rat traps hanging off his ears, a homemade haircut which looked like it was done by ray charles in the middle of a grand mal seizure, and a sharpie drawing of a chicken neck/head coming out of his pants.

I remember Hammerhead, and also I saw the cows once. Living in Portland in the mid to late 90's was great, plus i had 4-5 friends at the time in bands around town i got to see alot of good music.
Genotortures they opend up for a Danzig show here in Houston back in 94 or 95 i think besides GWAR they were about the silliest band i've ever seen.
