I dont know your location, but the USA, Mexico and Canada all have centipedes.
Ive seen them near that size in Hawaii.

im in new england, only centipedes we have are the small 3" brown ones, as far as i know/have seen.

What you dont get to see, is the centipedes small arms near its mouth slowly tearing chunks off the mouse one at a time. That bad boy is gonna work on that mouse for hours and hours!!!

Well I see a 10"er every time I pee in that case, but hell yeah Ive seen centipedes like that. And what's worse is that the biggest ones I ever saw were always IN my barracks room. They werent quite as gerthy as that one, but close in length. People used to get bit by them alot too.

We have them in my area in socal too, Never seen one quite that large here, biggest i have seen was about 7 inch's Seen tons of the little ones before they grow up, remember that particular insect, if fed aot when young will grow quite large!!!! Oh and yes they are Poisenous<SP>
