Yeah, the location is a real buzz kill. It's on 3 acres, though.
My dad is a pretty big FLW nut, got dragged to all of his houses that were open for tours, and noticed that every single one of them had water damage being repaired every time we visited. He designed some cool looking houses, but that man could not design a livable house to save his life.

$24k property taxes + $6k home insurance sounds par for Concord. On top, they probably won't even let you refinish those floors without the town/MA/whatever historic society dictating the terms. Yeah, Concord is a big no-no for me.

there's a house up the hill from me. pretty nice house, but they are asking about $920k, which is almost a quarter million than what it sold for just 2 years ago
