The Buffalo shooter who is white had his rifle to his neck, the arriving officers wanted to kill the guy but couldn't. The color of his skin didn't have anything to do with it. In most situations where deadly force is used by law enforcement there is no time to make judgement calls based on skin color. I don't know this from personal experience but it is what I've been told and it seems pretty believable considering the situation.

The "second civil war" folk - and these are the same folks - scare me. They don't understand that with integrated populations, the war-related migrations would be brutal. Just look at the atrocities around the formation of Bangladesh when it revolted from Pakistan. That had heavy religious undertones and social/cultural reasonings. Especially when you add that a portion of that population believes that the "fucking libs" aren't worth the air they breathe. Then look at the size of the countries - US (3.2mm sq miles continental) vs. Bangladesh (57k sq miles). And the populations would focus on leaving or going to coastal areas - which is a long ways for people when supply lines are severed.
Those people scare the shit out of me. They control almost half of our government (or most of, depending on how you look at it). And depending on this next election goes, might get it and never give it back.
