Idaho Enduro Series
Boise, ID – February 25, 2015. The Idaho Enduro Series is a three event mountain bike race series that is open to riders of all abilities. Enduro is the heart of mountain biking with the focus being fun and friends. Enjoy a full day of riding where only the downhill sections are timed. Winners are decided by the lowest combined time. Overall riding ability is favored over lung capacity.
The courses are divided between expert/sport and beginner, so that no one feels like they’re getting in over their head and everyone feels challenged. Enduro riding clinics will be offered by Cycle Right for beginning riders.
Series winners will be determined by combined points from the three events. There is a trade/shop/team category and special competition that combines the points of a male and female rider from any category toward the crowing of the King and Queen of Enduro.
Event #1: Eagle Double Down Enduro, May 9, 2015, Eagle Bike Park, Eagle, ID. 6 stages with 10 miles of total riding. Registration at www.idahoenduroseries.com, Pro/Expert/Sport $55, Beginner $45, Juniors $35. Site opens at 7AM, first rider off at 10AM. All male categories ride first followed by female categories. Food trucks at the sponsor expo area and beverages being served by Woodland Empire.
Event #2: Jug Mountain Ranch Enduro, June 20-21, 2015, Jug Mountain Ranch, McCall, ID. Cross country race Saturday and enduro Sunday. Registration at www.idahoenduroseries.com, XC adult $45, junior $35, Enduro adult $75, junior $50. Discount for entering multiple events. On site camping available.
Event #3: Brundage Mountain Bike Festival, Aug 14-16, 2015, Brundage Mountain, McCall, ID. Three day family friendly mountain bike festival. Chainless race Friday, cross country Saturday and enduro Sunday. Nightly entertainment and special lift ticket packages available. Registration at www.idahoenduroseries.com, Chainless race $25, XC adult $45, junior $35, Enduro adult $75, junior $50. Lift ticket not included in the entry fee. Discount for entering multiple events. On site camping available. Series finale awards following the enduro event.
