So, other than the shock being driven by a yoke on the swing arm instead of the upper link, is DW's new design fundamentally different to what Pole is doing?

I just messed around with the Pole design in Linkage to see what happens to the Anti-squat when you lay it out like this Orion.
The curve starts out flat for the first 60mm of travel then it decreases. The higher the upper link the more the AS. With it looking about where the Esker has it the AS is 110%.
Axle path doesn't have much rearward movement.

The seat tube angle (actual) is around about 70deg. as seen by eyesight.
Raise that seatpost high enough for seated pedalling eficiency and it's only able to go upwards at a trajectory of 70deg. So I have no clue WTF the point in the virtual measurement is.
A better way for manufacturers to list seat tube geometry would be ACTUAL SEAT TUBE ANGLE + or - horizontal offset measurement.
But fuck us the consumer

I'm also utterly baffled road bikes with slightly wider tires advertised for use on gravel, but they have pedals, so they have to be fun in some dimension.
Hey I was hoping for a new DH bike but ended up finding a CX bike instead - not quite what I was looking for.
How the F* do you think I feel.
My Podium is Noel's final no-serial number prototype from 2013 and I either spend a bunch of $ for a full rebuild or I find me a new DH bike. I really like the Podium for what and how I ride, but at 6'2" would seriously like to goto something with non-micro wheelz.
Plus finding 26" rims and tires is getting a bit tough unless you like the excess weight of what is still available compared to the new generation of rims etc.
Fucking first world problems.

My ex fixie riding hipster coworker fucking loves hitting any gravel roads he can when we go out on road rides, for god knows what reason. I've ridden his bike, and while its marginally more comfortable than my pure road bike, it still feels like having your teeth forcibly removed from your mouth by rattling them out. From what I can tell, its like somebody finding a really shitty pothole filled patch of old pavement and saying "hm, you know what would be fun? Riding this with solid rubber tires at high speeds."
I'll ride a road bike on gravel, but it ain't my idea of heaven. The Moonlander, however...
My gravel bro bike is great. I can dick around on city paths like a tool and if I have to go on grass, gravel path or some trail I'm not completely hosed.
It can also carry two tall cans of delicious beverage. None of my other bikes can do that, so that's a plus.

Also Polish distro of Hutchinson claimed they didn't have one model of their tires I wanted when I called them but then my friend who was sponored by them visited their warehouse and found a box of 200 unopened tires that had only that model.
Well or our RS distro who didn't know what was in their upcoming shipments so if you wanted to buy a boxxer they told you it may come in 1 week it may come in 1 month.

I quite like the look of the Zumbi F11, it's not new but they have two geo options and a custom option-
Haven't come across a Zumbi for a long time, but it's nice to see some straight tubes for a change.
I'm sure I read something about alignment and QC issues on previous Zumbis but I think it was just one person whinging over and over again. The IS brake mount is a bummer, don't think I could go back to running a bike with one of them.
Also, do may frames run 7020 aluminum alloy? Can't recall seeing that number before.

Just that it sounds like 180mm single crowns will be supported.
