Space-X is a fairly large employer here and all their are tons of stories of it having a rather toxic white bro culture. From rampant racism, sexual harassment, unsafe conditions and intimidation. I chatted up a woman engineer who quit there after one day when her boss introduced her to the team as "the latest diversity hire". She was lucky to be welcomed back to her old employer. Could be a great place to work if you are a rich white dude.

At work we are just waiting for a solar storm to kick off Kessler syndrome with the satellite cloud, most likely is the Starlink sat's as they need constant course adjustments, so the com's going down for a few hours will have a good chance causing a problem.

yeah, the Elmers in the Ham radio groups and the DIY solar groups are all freaking out about the flares.
