It really doesn't matter where the rest of the posties are in the GC, they only exist to help Lance... they are just mostly near the top right now because of the TT. When it comes time for him to do whatever his support role is, it won't matter where he is in the GC.
He's ok as long as he doesn't finish a stage after the cutoff time.
Lance and Johan will take turns beating him with a rusty chain before pushing him off a cliff in the Alps.

I think the 10% rule is in effect.
Nah, Lance is the nice guy, he'll encourage Noval properly .. Johan on the other hand enjoys beating people with a rusty chain and does it even when they're riding well

Depending on the type of stage and the difficulties involved, finishing deadlines are calculated based coefficients .
On the flats its 10% of the stage winners total time, in the mountains it gets extended. Though even in the flats the referees have been known to bend the rules and extend it.
