it is perfectly adequate given that it's costing me $54.91 USD/mo x 24 months of use.
wow! that's... impressive. do you mean fuel costs, or does that also include car payments?!

(I have to admit, I didn't watch the videos to find out what his beef is with them... I just saw the headline the other day)

energy costs are negligible. that's the car payment. with 0 down. x 24 months, 12k allowed miles per year on the lease.

(thank you, CO tax credit! + a good deal underlying it. + Toyota throwing lots of lease cash its way this month.)

Totally unsurprising. My ZR2 was around 50k, but nicely appointed with the usual stuff like adaptive cruise, heated seats and wheel, plus the crazy off road stuff like locking front and rear diffs, multi matic shocks, etc. I thought about the new Taco, but it was vaporware at the time and the new ones would be $$$.
Yeah, I think my buddies ZR2 was like $70k and then made totally pointless by having that baja tire mount in the bed so you can't use it as an actual truck.

I think his is a diesel, too.

I saw one of the Canadian Forces G Wagon's the other day, trotting along on the freeway. Not sure where buddies went, but every inch of that thing was covered in thick mud and grass.

I'm sure that was fun cleaning off when it dried on the way back to the local armoury.

Man, I hate Tesla like Elon hates black people, but that model 3 performance is mighty tempting. Allegedly the m3pp also qualifies for the federal rebate, which means with MA incentives the whole shebang is 41k or so. That’s not a lot of money for a performance car of any ilk.

Man, I spent a good 5 minutes and 2 perfect donuts in an '09 once. The ZR1 is so ridiculous. An owner once told me you couldn't hit the floor with the gas pedal because you'll have to grab the next gear first. I could feel it in the short runs I did in 2nd. Before you get to half way the supercharger kicks in and all bets are off.
