Unless some hypocrites get their panties in a bunch about it.
They say that in general, 10% of the global population is gay, or somewhere on the LGBTQ spectrum.
That's almost a BILLION people.
During a recent conversation about demographics I looked that up and it's actually 6-7%. The 10% number gets quoted a lot and was what I thought I'd heard but doesn't seem based on any good data. Here's another random fact that came up in my search: In the last 20 years African Americans went up 3% points in the US population while also losing the title of "largest minority" to Latinos. That's a lot of new Latinos.

isn‘t spanish soon the most spoken language in the biggest country in the northern continent?
I haven't noticed a lot of Spanish speakers around me, but I don't get out much. Apparently Mandarin and Cantonese are the next in line after English and French. Or are you talking about Russia?

Eagle on a 26" wheel... :nope:

Disclaimer: the industry didn't push that on me. I just have the parts and was curious.

It is still wrong.
I felt bad at the bikepark looking at all these enduro bikes with giant cassette and derailleur...

On my Derp bike I have XD on 26" (Hope Pro2/stans flow)
But I run 11spd 10-42 coz I ain't fucking weak and would honestly rather push up a hill than pedal at slower than walking pace.

I did the opposite a few weeks ago, installed the first of its kind 20" specific derailleur onto my boys Kubike 20. He is hyped by the small hands specific shifter and unbelievable amount of 9 gears :D

How small is your chainring? With a 12 speed Eagle cassette on the steeper climbs putzing along I am still rolling at about 4mph. Which I guess is a walking pace, a fast walking pace but still a hell of a lot faster than I can walk up a steep hill let alone push a bike.

Way to commit. It occurs to me I've never seen a 26" hoop laced to an XD freehub. You need a skid plate for that lower pulley.
No xd freehub here. NX cassettes fit the old shimano freehub :brows:

32x52 and a 26" wheel is only for top level spinner :busted:

Super cute!
Buying parts and bikes for my son makes me way more happy than trying to upgrade my own bike. Latest "hhhmmmm" upgrade for my boy:

"That escalated quickly" feeling is strong!!!

His former dh bike will become a trail bike and this one will be the new dh bike.

34t so cadence in the 42 doesn't get really slow until below 2mph.

That's awesome! Wish I knew about that last year. Replaced my 7 y/o's Woom bike that came with a gripshift with a real trigger shifter. Her little hands just couldn't handle the gripshift, so she never shifted. Boo. Bought a sram trigger shifter. She likes that much better. :)

Yeah, it's really a nice upgrade. On his bike, actually his sister's former bike, there also was a Shimano Gripshift and both of them struggled really hard with it. Then Microshift announced the kid's specific series and I kept watching the shops for it and pulled the trigger as soon as it was available.

Here's the Microshift page about it.

Same here.

On my old bike (now ridden by my son), I had a XD driver with 10/42 11sp on a 26" wheel.

Isn't that like running a 46T on 27.5" or 50T on 29er anyway? Or maybe not. I forget the ratios.

I've got a 52T Eagle on 27.5 at the moment cos thats what came on the bike and it hasn't flogged out yet. It's pretty bonkers low tbh, i usually lose traction before I can't push it.

I hate wide ratio cassettes and the slow AF shifts they give.

TBF I do spend MOAR time on this...

No. I did.

But to answer your question.
Generally speaking the difference between 26, 27.5 and 29 on the low end of a cassette (largest sprocket) to give a similar ratio is just one or two teeth. Not 5 - 8

Oh right. I remembered it being something like 10% but couldn't remember. Anyways well done. Strong like Russia.

I'll keep spinning my little corgi legs with the 52T and then buy whatever is on sale when I need to replace it. It's actually pretty handy when I'm either exhausted and need to get back, or trying to strategically preserve my legs on liaison climbs to have all the strength i need for the stages to get from mid-pack to mid-pack+

No stress. If I can still wheelie uphill in the gear it's low enough for me. We're all different.

I'm heavy like Rusia too these days BTW

Yeah but the Forge+Bond are rEcYcLeD so they're good for the environment!!! Don't tell me you don't want to do your part to save the planet!
That company name makes me think that they're some hipster kink coffee shop in San Francisco.
